Buckthorn Removal This Sunday at Legend Park

The Friends of Franklin’s Parks are looking for additional volunteers for its Buckthorn removal project at Legend Park.
Buckthorn is an invasive shrub that crowds out our native species and destroys the natural diverse beauty of our parks.
Help them remove this invader from our parks by lending a hand on Sunday October 16th from 9:00 am - 12:30. (They will be finished before the Packers game!). Volunteers should meet at the Legend Park Pavilion behind city hall Bring gloves and hand cutting tools. Volunteers will be required to sign a waiver of liability statement.
