Video of the Day: Spielberg's “Lincoln” leads Oscar race with 12 Nominations

Steven Spielberg's epic film about our 16th president and his battle to end slavery garnered plenty of votes for the 85th Academy Award and topped all other films with a total of 12 nominations, including best picture.

Video of the Day: “Oz The Great and Powerful” Film Trailer

If you haven't already seen a trailer for this film, today we bring you the official  debut trailer for Disney's fantastical adventure "Oz The Great and Powerful".  Discover the origins of L. Frank Baum's 'the Wizard of Oz'. In US and UK cinemas in  March.

 

 

Based upon this trailer it would appear that the remake of this 1939 film classic this 2013 version will  more than satisfy fans of the original film.  In any event,  if any movie studio can pull it off—my money’s on Disney Studios.

Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary Concert in London 

Mick Jagger has been quoted as as saying:

“[I would]rather be dead than singing ‘Satisfaction’ when I’m 45." 

As it turned out, Jagger’s band is now 50, he’s 69, and the Rolling Stones continue to churn out rock and roll, including their greatest hits.
