If the queen  can’t mind her manners at the grown up’s table,  maybe she should be moved back to the “kid’s table." (a.k.a. cards table).

Young and Jobless: How the Job Market is Hurting Recent Grads' Futures

If you’re a recent or soon-to-be college grad, you’re probably going through a mix of emotions.  Undoubtedly, you’re happy to have your degree. However, you’re also stuck within a less than unforthcoming transition. Unless you’re one of the few with a job lined up, you’ve gone from student to unemployed overnight.  

Couple this with the bleak fact that the average student loan debt rose to $26,600 for class of 2011--up about five percent from the class of 2011.  Not a very promising outlook for all the hard work you've just gone through for the past four years or more.

Say Farewell to Pennies and Nickels!

The New American reported on Thursday, November 29  that TreasurySecretary Timothy Geithner  announced that the U.S. Mint will begin removing pennies and nickels from circulation starting the first of the year, supposedly because they’re too expensive to make. It costs the mint nearly 5 cents to make each penny while it costs more than 16 cents to make a nickel. This is costing the mint a lot of money, an estimated $187 million last year alone.  Read full story…

Obama’s  and previous administrations' entanglements in the Mideast particularly now in Egypt and its recently elected Muslim Brotherhood government.  

Let’s not forget that Adolf Hitler  and his socialist party was “democratically” elected Chancellor of Germany in 1933.  Once more the president demonstrates how inept his administration has been when it comes to foreign policy and the sinister actors in the Middle East.  It wasn't that long ago we ran a 10-part series on the Muslim Brotherhood produced by Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy. 

Surely if we could readily find information about this terror organization with roots dating back to WWII and ties to Hitler’s Third Reich, couldn’t the White House?

This is the motto of the Muslim Brotherhood, which was founded in Egypt as a vehicle to establish a worldwide Islamic empire governed by shariah law:

Obama: Iraq War Over, Troops to Leave by Year's End

President Obama announced Friday, October 19, 2011, that American troops will leave Iraq by the end of the year as planned, and that the "long war in Iraq" will come to an end.  The following video was published online on November 12, 2012 by Heritage Foundation.

"Our troops in Iraq will definitely be home for the holidays," he said.  Add that to the rest of the lies this failure has spewed  out in the past five years, including the 2008 campaign.

Major Ben Richards can't speak for every veteran. He does, however, have a moving story to tell about his soldiers. This excerpt from the forthcoming film “Veteran Nation,” produced by Coldwater Media, reminds us of the honor and sacrifice of those who serve.  The American soldiers you see in this video are not really in Iraq--or are they?

Does any reasonable person really believe Iraq and its corrupt government leaders are going to live happily ever after when we leave?  I consider this a rehearsal for what will happen in Afghanistan when we leave.  My generation has already seen this movie before.  It was called “Vietnamization.”   Americans killed: 58,220.  What a waste.  Just like Iraq and Afghanistan.

Gen. David Petraeus will testify before the House and Senate Intelligence Committees (now there’s an oxymoron) on the Libya embassy attack this morning, despite the ongoing FBI investigation into an extramarital affair that led to his resignation as director of the CIA.

“We Are Hungry”

First Lady Michelle Obama, Administration Officials and Let’s Move! advocates reaffirm commitment to raise a healthier generation of kids.

But kids say their message has not been addressed in the media. They are excited about being offered more healthy fruits and vegetables. We feel the protein and carbohydrate limitations, 10-12 ounces a week,are not enough fuel for our average very active student. Most students have a weights class and compete in sports. We see a problem with a one size fits all programs that only are meant to target the overweight student, not the average student as deemed by local governing boards.
