Bill Whittle: "Turncoat Nation"

One of our favorite conservatives, Bill Whittle, is back again with his takes on Obama and his Chicago-style politics, some of the gangsters in his administration and his campaign team, and a couple of the “usual progressive suspects.”

I could not have said it better myself...  I will say, however, mine would have included a lot more "colorful" language.

House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (CA-22) today released "Is the President Listening? Linda's Story," a new video in which Linda Lizanich, an accountant at Willoughby, OH based Kennedy Group, breaks down how President Obama's small businesses tax hike will hurt middle class employees working at small businesses.

Let’s be fair, Obama has worked in the private sector before, he has received paychecks from at least 11 different for-profit companies (CQ). According to Politifact.

Obama Would Do Well to Heed the Words of President Washington

Obama’s  and previous administrations' entanglements in the Mideast particularly now in Egypt and its recently elected Muslim Brotherhood government.  

Let’s not forget that Adolf Hitler  and his socialist party was “democratically” elected Chancellor of Germany in 1933.  Once more the president demonstrates how inept his administration has been when it comes to foreign policy and the sinister actors in the Middle East.  It wasn't that long ago we ran a 10-part series on the Muslim Brotherhood produced by Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy. 

Surely if we could readily find information about this terror organization with roots dating back to WWII and ties to Hitler’s Third Reich, couldn’t the White House?

This is the motto of the Muslim Brotherhood, which was founded in Egypt as a vehicle to establish a worldwide Islamic empire governed by shariah law:

"God is our Goal.   The Prophet is our leader.  The Quran is our constitution.  Jihad is our way.  Death in the service of God is the loftiest of our wishes.  God is great, God is great.”

Obama: Iraq War Over, Troops to Leave by Year's End

President Obama announced Friday, October 19, 2011, that American troops will leave Iraq by the end of the year as planned, and that the "long war in Iraq" will come to an end.  The following video was published online on November 12, 2012 by Heritage Foundation.

"Our troops in Iraq will definitely be home for the holidays," he said.  Add that to the rest of the lies this failure has spewed  out in the past five years, including the 2008 campaign.

Major Ben Richards can't speak for every veteran. He does, however, have a moving story to tell about his soldiers. This excerpt from the forthcoming film “Veteran Nation,” produced by Coldwater Media, reminds us of the honor and sacrifice of those who serve.  The American soldiers you see in this video are not really in Iraq--or are they?

Does any reasonable person really believe Iraq and its corrupt government leaders are going to live happily ever after when we leave?  I consider this a rehearsal for what will happen in Afghanistan when we leave.  My generation has already seen this movie before.  It was called “Vietnamization.”   Americans killed: 58,220.  What a waste.  Just like Iraq and Afghanistan.

Constitution 201: Challenge of Progressivism

Today we begin a 10-part lecture series presented by Hillsdale College entitled “Constitution 201.”

Each lecture lasts approximately 40 minutes.  Lectures and study materials will be made available to our readers.  Today we present part 1 "The Founders’ Constitution and the Challenge of Progressivism."

Overview

The principles of the American Founding, embodied in the Declaration of Independence and enshrined in the Constitution, came under assault by Progressives of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.  Progressivism rejects the Founders’ ideas of natural rights, limited government, the  separation of powers, representation, and federalism.  Progressive government, exemplified by the modern administrative state, has fundamentally transformed key aspects of the American way of life.

Progressives believe that America needs to move beyond the principles of the Founding.  Woodrow Wilson—who served as president of Princeton University, governor of New Jersey, and as America’s 28th president—was one of the earliest Progressive thinkers.  His critique of the Founding—namely, his rejection of the principles of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution’s system of the separation of powers—is one of the most articulate expressions of the Progressive movement’s core beliefs.

Doing Fine?

The pace of job growth has slowed down dramatically in recent months. The economy added 80,000 jobs last month according to a report from the Labor Department.    But even that fell short of expectations of 90,000 and was not enough to change the unemployment rate from 8.2%. By comparison, the economy added 275,000 in the first month of the year. The jobs gain for May, however, was also revised up to 77,000 from an initially reported 69,000.  Read more>>
