Video of the Day: Sen. Diane Feinstein in '95: “If I Could Ban Every Single Gun, I Would”

oh, my goodness, the good lady from California must have forgotten her oath of office:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms and states:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Seems pretty straightforward yo us.  Maybe the lady from California should bone-up on her understanding of the U.S. Constitution.  “… if I Could Ban Every Single Gun, I would...”

Presenting the Tolerant “Big Tent Party”

Comedy Channel took it’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart to the DNC where his cameras and “correspondents” found that attendees were quick to claim tolerance and inclusion but they were slow to extend it while discussing conservatives. This is an incredible video.

Haven't We Heard it All Before?

I have decided not to watch any of the Democrats' National Convention believing that I’ve heard it all before from Barrack Obama and his Liberal surrogates.  This video proved me right.

.

"...You can make it, if you try."  I swear I've eard something like that before.

'The Hope and The Change' Special Most Watched Cable News Program

On Saturday, August 25, more than 2.25 million viewers watched Fox News’ one-hour special on a soon to be released documentary entitled  “The Hope and The Change” on “Hannity,” making the program the most-watched cable news show of the evening.  Here is the trailer for this movie which was produced by Citizens United.

After watching this I've come to the conclusion that the Bush Administration along with Congress' unchecked spending, including the funding of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan created the perfect storm for an Obama Victory in 2008.

FNC’s Juan Williams: "Ann Romney very lucky and blessed…”

Listen to how Fox News analyst Juan Williams describes Ann Romney in a round table discussion following Mrs. Romney’s speech last night at the RNC.

If being stricken with Multiple Sclerosis and breast cancer is being “lucky and blessed,” then I don’t know the meanings of those words.  Williams' comments are indefensible.

Americans’ growing Dependency on Government

My maternal grandparents were immigrants from Greece.  When I was younger I remember my Mom telling me that her family was embarrassed when they eventually had to go on welfare or County relief (“the County”) as it was known then and did whatever they had to do—kids—included to get off the county.  Today, there is a far different mind-set when it comes to relying on government “entitlement” programs. Bill O'Reilly sums up this change in Americans’ attitude toward welfare, perfectly.

Dear Mr. President you’ve lost Jon Stewart and That's a BFD!

We would have embedded the Stewart video in this story, however when we tried to get the code we received this response: Embedding disabled by request.

Gee that’s weird...

So, we'll have to settle for a link to Stewart's rant on Obama.

Here is the full letter sent by House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa to the President of the United States on his use of executive privilege over the Department of Justice’s deadly scandal involving an Alchohol Tabacco and Fire Arms (ATF) operation named “Fast and Furious.”

We are presenting this in hopes of perking our readers’ interest in in this national disgrace perpetrated against the people of the United States by the corrupt Obama Administration especialy its Department of Justice.

Rep. Gwen Moore: “Victimization of women is as American as apple pie…”

Are Democrats and President Obama exploiting victims of domestic violence for political purposes?

In a recent telephone interview with Stephanie Miller of Al Gore’s Current TV, Rep. Gwen Moore (D) Wisconsin said she wishes the abuse she suffered "was something rare, but it's not" and calls the revised version of the Violence Against Women Act fake.

State of the Union 2012: Obama unveils ‘Buffett Rule’

While the president and  Democrats in Congress lust for the so-called ‘Buffett Rule,’ a tax reform named for billionaire Warren Buffett which would create a top marginal tax rate of 30 percent for every dollar earned after the first million earned in a year. While the existing top marginal tax rate is supposed to be 35% there are several loopholes the ‘Buffet Rule’ “aims to end.

However, there are approximately one billion things that our president and Buffett are neglecting to tell the American people.

Acording to a Newsmax Moneynews story entitled: Report: Buffett's Berkshire Owes $1 Billion In Back Taxes.

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett triggered a major debate over taxes recently when he wrote in The New York Times that he should be paying more to the federal government. He called on Washington lawmakers to up tax rates on the rich.

But it turns out that Buffett’s own company, Berkshire Hathaway, has had every opportunity to pay more taxes over the last decade. Instead, it’s been mired in a protracted legal battle with the Internal Revenue Service over a bill that one analyst estimates may total $1 billion.

Yes, that’s right: while Warren Buffett complains that the rich aren’t paying their fair share his own company has been fighting tooth and nail to avoid paying a larger share.

The story of Berkshire's years-long tax battle, which is generally known in business circles, took on new life this week when a group called Americans for Limited Government (ALG) reported that, according to Berkshire Hathaway’s own annual report, the company is embroiled in an ongoing standoff over its tax bills.

That report, in turn, was cited in an editorial in The New York Post.

“Obvious question: If Buffett really thinks he and his 'mega-rich friends' should pay higher taxes, why doesn’t his firm fork over what it already owes under current rates?” the Post opined.

“Likely answer: Buffett cares more about shilling for President Obama -- who’s practically made socking “millionaires and billionaires” his re-election theme song -- than about kicking in more himself.”  Click to read the full text of this article...

Tea Party Debt Commission Shut Down by Chuck Schumer?

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

United States Constitution Bill of Rights

The United States Congress has once again silenced the voice of the American people.

When the Tea Party Debt Commission showed up on Capitol Hill last week to release its final report—which includes almost $10 TRILLION in cuts—the Democrat-controlled Senate Rules Committee shut them down.

The First Amendment guarantees the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
